Common Sexual Myths Destroyed

Although it sounds impossible, a lot of people are misinformed about certain sexual issues and today, I'm going to dispel these untruths and tell you how things really work when it comes to sex.

So the next time you're about to engage in a little funny stuff with your woman, keep these facts in mind.

myth or truth?

Myth #1: She won't get pregnant if we have sex while she's menstruating. Fact: While it is unlikely, you need to understand that there are only 24 hours in each month in which a woman can get pregnant. The problem lies in figuring out which day that is. And since sperm can live inside a woman for up to 5 days, she can most definitely get pregnant while she's menstruating.

Myth #2: Only women can have multiple orgasms. Fact: Although about 30% of women have experienced multiple orgasm, only about 10% do so on a regular basis. And contrary to common belief, some men can most definitely have repeated orgasms without losing their erections. This is, however, more common in younger men.

Myth #3: If I withdraw at the point of orgasm when not wearing a condom, she won't get pregnant. Fact: Not only do you have a great chance of getting her pregnant, you also have a great chance of transmitting a disease. Even before ejaculation, the penis leaks semen that can contain thousands of sperm, which can cause pregnancy. Withdrawal is like playing roulette, and we all know how the odds work with that. Always wear a condom.

Myth #4: Masturbation will make my penis bigger. Fact: Although it feels great to get intimate with yourself, the likelihood of your penis getting larger because of it are nil. Yes, you're stroking it, but that won't stretch it out to your liking, and even if it does, you may lose your ability to maintain a fully solid erection.

Can food intake really affect the taste of your semen?

Myth #5: The foods I eat change the taste of my semen. Fact: While this may not be totally untrue, there is no scientific evidence that has proven otherwise. While some believe that cutting out dairy products and avoiding cauliflower, broccoli and asparagus improve the taste, others believe that limiting foods that are heavy in garlic and onions would also do the trick.

Smoking and drinking are also believed to affect the taste of semen. As well, some say eating parsley or cinnamon before oral sex affects the flavor of semen. So try these things out and come to your own conclusion (literally).

Myth #6: Women prefer men with big penises. Fact: This is by no means universally true. Perhaps some women do prefer men with large penises, but most women would just as soon have a partner with a normal sized one. The average penis size is between 5 and 6 inches erect. And it's not the size of the wand, it's the magic you can do with it, and let me tell you, I'm quite the magician... or so my woman tells me.

Myth #7: There is no G-spot. Fact: Although Dr. Ruth maintains that the G-spot is nothing more than a myth, many women and men would beg to differ. This famed spot is located approximately two inches inside the front vaginal wall.

Myth #8: Women don't like to give oral sex. Fact: While fewer women than men actually report enjoying giving oral sex to a partner, many women enjoy this activity on its own merits. How can you find out if your woman enjoys it? Ask her.

Myth #9: Some women don't have a clitoris. Fact: Some clitori are very small; others are so extremely large that the hood does not completely cover them. But every woman, unless she's been circumcised (it actually happens in some countries), is the proud owner of a clitoris. Some are more sensitive than others, no doubt, but they're there nevertheless.

Myth #10: If she doesn't orgasm, she didn't enjoy the sex. Fact: Believe it or not, only about half of all women experience orgasm during sexual intercourse. The majority of women require some kind of clitoral stimulation to reach orgasm, whether it occurs during intercourse or not. But many women enjoy sex even if they don't always climax.

it's all lies

And so, I have dispelled many a myth that you grew up believing due to your idiot older brother or simply because no one ever educated you on the inner workings of human sexuality.
