The Cosmopolitan Eyewear collection now includes six new sunglasses in an eclectic mix of styles, shapes and colors for bold, independent women.
omance and glamor are the hallmarks of this new line of sunglasses from wedding/prom dress designer Jessica McClintock. JMC 515 is a soft, understated rimless design with a filigreed logo at the temples. JMC 516 is more dramatic, with a fuller, square eye shape and crystal inlays on the lenses. And JMC 513 is an oval plastic with polished metal end pieces. All come in a variety of colors and include a soft taffeta eyewear case with purchase.
Donna Karan's spring 2003 runway show featured 1940s-inspired business suits and coats, soft dresses and knee-length skirts. An example is the bright, pretty frock model Natalia Vodianova wears.
Karan's new sunglasses showed retro touches, too, with rounded lenses in traditional colors and gold accents. The designer herself wore a pair with a strong brow bar, shown here.

DKNY's floating rimless modified rectangle in lightweight plastic. It is a shiny milky crystal frame with gradient crystal flash clear lens, but it is also available in other frame colors and gradient lens tints.

The Amazing Reaction shield comes in Blue, Burgundy and Gunmetal with fashion color lenses. Single Reaction is a rimless style in beryllium and plastic with fashion color lenses. It comes in Bronze and Gunmetal.
Each style features polycarbonate lenses with 100% UV protection. Delighted Reaction and Single Reaction are available with or without prescription and come with a metal flip-top hard case. Amazing Reaction is nonprescription only and comes with a zippered hard case.
For sports enthusiasts seeking sunglasses that are both durable and very lightweight, Oakley presents Switch, which the company believes to be the first eyewear to be made out of magnesium. Switch's nose and ear pieces are designed to increase their grip when they become moist. It features spring hinges and lenses that block 100% of ultraviolet and blue light.
Nike's new Mojo style has a tighter-than-average curve design to better protect your eyes from both the sun and the elements. Meanwhile, Max Lens Technology keeps distortion to a minimum and provides good peripheral vision. Mojo has a ventilated bridge.
