Central Chidlom is considered the flagship store of the Central Department Stores chain. It offers a variety of local handicrafts from all over Thailand, designer fashion, homewares, children's wear, cosmetics, watches and pens, electronic equipment, household appliances, jewelry and gems and leather accessories. It also houses a number of eateries, ranging from popular fast-food outlets to fine restaurants.

REVIEW OF CENTRAL CHITLOM: There are several branches of the Central Department Store around Bangkok, but the Central Chidlom (aka Chit Lom) store is the most accessible one for the majority of tourists, and is also the largest branch - seven floors of fashion, items for the home, electrical goods, kids' toys, gifts and more. There's also an upmarket food court on the 7th floor, a Japanese restaurant on the 4th floor and a branch of Starbucks on the ground floor. It's located on Ploenchit Road, a short walk east from Gaysorn Plaza, and is conveniently attached to the Chit Lom skytrain station by a walkway. Open from 10am from 10pm daily.

Central has invested more than a 100 million baht in developing this concept based on an area of more than 1800 square metres for Central Chidlom. We planned this project for more than 2 years and involved deep research and concept formulation before implementing this very intensive retail project.
