During his April visit to Southeast Asia, Solis’ CEO Steve Haas and Forbes Magazine’s CEO, Steve Forbes met at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand to discuss Solis’ business strategy and the Southeast Asian market.
Both Solis and Forbes were visiting the region with an eye for growth. With the weak American dollar, a growing Asian middle class and some of the world’s top tourist destination, the Asia market demand for Solis’ premium Los Angeles designer labels grows. “It’s a very interesting time for Solis as we have a footprint in the USA, Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, Japan and the United Kingdom and each region is showing strong growth despite the USA economic slow down. In fact, the weak dollar is helping our US manufactured fashion access a larger international market.“ Haas comments.
